Join us for a day of mindful sitting and walking meditation at the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery. This in-person event will provide you with the opportunity to deepen your practice with like-minded friends in a sacred setting. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to meditation, this daylong retreat offers a space for quietly connecting to the stillness within. James and Eve will offer instructions, Dharma talks and Dharma music.
Dana
This day is offered in the spirit of dana. There is no formal charge for the dana. Support for the teachers and our community projects is very much appreciated. The practice of dana that has kept the Buddhist tradition alive for more than 2,600 years in Asia. There is no "right amount" since each person's circumstance is different. The principle is that dana should be a source of joy to the one giving. The teachers share the teachings in this spirit of generosity. There will be an opportunity to offer dana at the event. The teachers gratefully receive the support of participants.
